The Finest Wood
Heartland Heirlooms uses hardwood logs sourced only from sustainable Midwest forests. We buy only the finest grade of wood for our furniture. The logs are turned into lumber, then graded, sorted, and dried for proper seasoning. After the boards are kiln-dried, they are used to make furniture components with very close tolerances.

To apply the finish, H H uses hand-spraying, hand-wiping, and hand-sanding methods. The result is an impeccably smooth finish that not only provides protection but also enhances the wood’s natural beauty.
